Teen electrocuted at Akbar Road shanty: Police

A 15-year-old boy was electrocuted here after he accidentally came in contact with an electric pole, the police said today.

The incident was reported last night from a shanty at Akbar Road.

Arvind Kumar (15) used to stay in a shed which was located close to an electric pole, the police said, adding that the boy accidentally touched the pole yesterday and was electrocuted.

His uncle rushed him to a hospital, where he was declared "brought dead".
