Teenage girl run over by truck in UP

A 14-year-old girl was today killed and her sister injured when a truck ran over them in a market here, police said.

Farzana and her sister Rukhsana (20) were on a motorcycle along with their relative Mainuddin when it slipped and all three fell on the road, Station Officer Afsur Pervej said.

Just then, a truck ran over the two girls, killing Farzana and grievously injuring Rukhsana, he added.

The truck driver was arrested from the spot.
