Teenager drowns

while bathing in the river Koel in the steel city here today, the police said.

Abtar Singh, his younger brother and a friend were bathing at Tumkelaghat when the three were swept away by a sudden current.

A fisherman rescued two of them but Abtar was not found, the sources said.
