Telugu movie producer Kalyan booked after woman's complaint

Police booked a case against Telugu movie producer C Kalyan based on a complaint filed by a woman, who alleged that he had assaulted her and attempted to outrage her modesty.

"The case is being investigated. The investigation officer will examine witnesses," DCP (West) A Venkateswara Rao told PTI.

The woman alleged in her complaint that after "hot discussions" at a meeting last evening at her apartment in Jubilee Hills area, where Kalyan also has a flat, the producer "misbehaved with her, tried to catch her and attempted to outrage her modesty".
