Tension over alleged desecration in temple

Tension prevailed in Morkuka village following an alleged desecration at a temple in the district, police said today.

Trouble arose last night when the alleged desecration came to light and the devotees protested against the incident, they said.

Extra police has been deployed and security has been tightened in the area as a precautionary measure, police said.
