The prices of thoor dal and urad dal went up and that of moong dal, gram dal, sugar and wheat came down, while rest all other commodities remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Thoor dal and urad dal rose by Rs 200 per quintal each to Rs 7,500 and Rs 8,500 from its previous week's rate of Rs 7,300 and Rs 8,400 respectively.
Moong dal came down by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 9,000 from its previous rate of Rs 9,500.

Gram dal fell by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 3,900 against previous rate of Rs 3,950.
Sugar and wheat fell by Rs 50 each per quintal to Rs 3,250 and Rs 2,450 from Rs 3,300 and Rs 2,500 respectively.
Maida and sooji both are maintaining the same rate.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,500 Urad Dal Rs 8,500 Moong Dal Rs 9,000 Gram Dal Rs 3,900 Sugar Rs 3,250 Wheat Rs 2,450 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,500.
