The Jammu and Kashmir government today assured the people of Gool that requisite action would be taken against those responsible for the firing incident of July 18 in Ramban district in which four persons were killed.
J-K minister for rural development and panchayati raj, Ali Mohd Sagar along with his Cabinet colleague Chowdhery Mohd Ramzan gave their assurance during an interaction with the people and members of bereaved families in Gool.
The duo, meanwhile, appealed to the people to maintain calm and peace.
Four people were killed and 42 others were injured in alleged firing by security personnel when a mob attacked a Border Security Force camp in Dharam area of Ramban district.
