Three held for planning to loot passerby

Three persons who were allegedly planning to loot passersby here have been arrested, police said today.

Acting on a tip off, police reached Sector-8 and nabbed the culprits who were planning to loot the passersby, they said.

The youths have been identified as Zakir and Javed, residents of Palwal and Naushad, a Gurgaon resident, police said, adding that a country-made revolver, one live cartidge, an iron rod and a stick were recovered from them.

Police has registered a case against the accused.
