Three persons were arrested with 600 grams of poppy straw in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
The motorcycle-borne trio were intercepted near Sidha Road in the district and the poppy straw seized from their possesion, a police officer said.
The accused, identified as Babu Khan, Hamid Khan and Sohan Singh, were arrested and booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the officer said, adding that investigations into the case have been initiated.
