Three of a family killed, five injured as car falls in ditch in UP

Three members of a family were

killed and five others injured when their car fell into a roadside ditch after being hit by a heavy vehicle in Kotwali police station area here, police said.

The accident occurred early yesterday near Kamakhya temple here when the family was returning here after attending a wedding function at a nearby place, police station incharge Sanjay Gupta said today.

While Nazir (24), Asma (22) and Rukhsar (19) died on the spot, five others were injured and admitted to a hospital, he

added.
