Three members of a family were killed and another person -- the family's domestic help -- was severely injured when the car they were driving in overturned and fell into a culvert on the Khandwa-Icchapur road today.
The accident took place about 20 km from the district headquarters, police said.
The deceased were identified as Tirlok Chand, his wife Girijabai and their son Sunil, said superintendent of police Manoj Sharma.
The family belongs to Khargone district's Jethvay village.
