Leading online bus ticketing portal Ticketgoose.Com today launched its new facility to book tickets using mobile phone, with the advantage of enabling passengers track their bus and and go to the boarding spot on time, a top company official said today.
Karthi Easwaramoorthy, President and company co-founder said the facility is expected to improve business by 10 per cent. The advantage of the facility was passengers could track their bus and and go to the boarding spot on time. It would also help them reach the destination if they did not have any idea about the destination, he said.
"We have already asked bus operators to install GPS device in their buses and this will help passengers having mobile phone track their bus," he added.

Hatsun Agro third qtr net profits jumps over 2-fold * Dairy products maker Hatsun Agro Product Ltd and makers of popular milk under the brand 'Arogya', has reported a 105.5 per cent jump in its net profits at Rs 30.88 crore for the third quarter ended December 31.
The Chennai-based company had reported net profits at Rs 15.02 crore during the corresponding period of previous year, Hatsun Agro Product Ltd said in a BSE filing.
For the nine month period ending December 31, the net profits soared by 101.3 per cent to Rs 77.67 crore from Rs 38.58 crore registered in the year ago period.
The total income from operations rose to Rs 633.28 crore for the third quarter ending December 31 from Rs 543.20 crore.

Suguna Foods forays into masala market
* Poultry-based food company Suguna Foods has forayed into the masala market with the launch of Mother's Delight Masala brand.
The Coimbatore-based Rs 5,000 crore company has launched the Mother's Delight Masala in five variants -- Chicken Masala, Chicken 65 Masala, Chicken Lollipop Masala, Chili Chicken Masala and Egg Curry Masala, a company statement said.
"With these products Suguna Foods will enter the Masala industry in the South through modern trade and neighbourhood stores. The Mother's Delight will be available across daily fresh franchise outlets," it said.
The variants are priced between Rs 25 and Rs 30, it said.

'Krishi Vasant' fair starts from Feb 9 at Nagpur * Centre and Maharashtra government are jointly organising agriculture fair-cum-exhibition 'Krishi Vasant' at Nagpur starting from February 9.
"This is likely to be the largest farmer fair in the country," an official statement said.
'Krishi Vasant', a national level agriculture fair-cum- exhibition, is being organised jointly by Union Agriculture Ministry and the Maharashtra government at Nagpur from February 9-13.
