Accusing CPI(M)-led Left Front of trying to disturb the peace in the state, ruling Trinamool Congress today said it will take out a rally on October 6 to protest against it.
Announcing the party's programme, TMC secretary general Partha Chatterjee said, "We have been noticing for the last few months that CPI(M) is trying to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the state. They are trying to create violence.
"We can't let this go on. So we have decided to organise a rally of TMC councillors, MLAs and leaders from College Street to Rani Rashmoni Road on October 6. We want to expose CPI(M) and its agenda before the masses."

Chatterjee's comment comes in the backdrop of two successful political movements of the Left - the first one being the march to Nabanna, the secretariat and the second being the march to Kolkata Police headquarters at Lalbazar in the city.
Several Left activists, including CPI-M central committee member Dipak Dasgupta and some women were injured in Thursday's march when the police lathicharged them.
Police said they were forced to resort to lathicharge when attacked by demonstrators and some police personnel were injured.
