Travel agent arrested for selling fake air tickets

A travel agent has been arrested for allegedly duping people by selling fake air tickets to Srinagar.
Rajeev Kardam, 30, was arrested from Saket in south Delhi and fake air tickets and computer used by him in commission of the crime were also recovered from his possession.
Kardam was arrested on November 11, on a complaint of one Trilogy Chand, a resident of Kalkaji, who had purchased 20 'Go Air' tickets to Srinagar from the accused for Rs 3.22 lakh, DCP South District B S Jasiwal said.
Chand said in his complaint that he had purchased 20 return air tickets of 'Go Air' to Srinagar on November 9 for his son and his colleagues from Kardam. He said when he along with his son and colleagues reached the airport, they learnt that the tickets were forged.
