Two arrested for killing man over property dispute

A man was allegedly strangulated to death by two persons over a property dispute and his body dumped in a manhole here.

Shravan, a resident of Khoda colony, had gone to Behlolpur village here on May 26 and did not return home, after which his relatives lodged an abduction complaint at Noida Phase three police station.

Police today said it has arrested Suresh and Kashmir Singh and recovered Shravan's body after they admitted to committing the crime.

During interrogation, the duo revealed that on May 26 they had called Shravan to Behlolpur village. From there, they took him to Mamura village to show him a rented house, police said.
 

They strangulated Shravan to death and threw his body in manhole, police said, adding the murder was over a property dispute.
