A woman and her son were
crushed to death by a speeding bus on Panipat-Khatima Highway near Ikhera village in the district, police said today.
Baleshwari, 50, and her son Sumesh Pal, 20, were en route to attend a wedding last evening when their motorcycle collided with the bus coming from the opposite side, they said.
The driver of the bus, Abrar, has been taken into custody.
