Two feared drowned in Indira Gandhi canal

Two boys are feared drowned in the Indira Gandhi canal in the district after they slipped into it in Chhatargarh area here, police said.

The boys identified as Bhagwana Ram and Suresh Kumar had gone to the canal in the morning. One of them accidentally slipped into the canal. The other also drowned in a bid to save him, the police said.

Divers are making efforts to locate their bodies, they said.
