Two killed as retd cop opens fire

Two brothers were killed when a retired policeman opened fire over a trivial issue in Bhulaiya village here, police said today.

Ram Badal (60) and Sukhlal (55), were killed last night when the retired policeman, Shyam Narain, opened fire following a heated debate over Sukhlal's children lighting a fire in the village, Superintendent of Police B D Shukla said.

A case has been registered and Shyam Narain and his son have been arrested, the SP added.
