Two persons were murdered today allegedly by a relative, a local Congress leader, in Khurja town of the district, police said here.
This afternoon, the accused Bhupinder Sharma after some heated arguments fired at his brothers-in-law, Chaman Gaur and Raja, with his .32 bore revolver at his home in Murari Nagar locality, Khurja SHO Sudhir Tyagi said.
Chaman was killed on the spot while Raja succumbed to his injuries on way to a hospital, SHO said, adding Rohit,a friend of the accused, sustained injuries in the melee,
The accused was arrested on the bases of an FIR lodged by the younger brother of Raja, he said.
Sharma, said to be the president of the Khurja city unit of Congress, was having some tiff with his brothers-in-law.
