Two miscreants, money recovered in W Midnapore dist

Two miscreants were arrested and Rs 4.40 lakh which they snatched from a businessman was recovered by police today in West Bengal's West Midnapore district today.

Police said the motorcycle borne miscreants snatched the bag containing the money from the businessman at Gopiballavpur on the Jharkhand-Odisha border after he withdrew the amount from the bank.

As the miscreants reached Asui village they were overpowered by local people and later handed to police.
