Two truckers held with 25 kgs of poppy in Jammu : Police

Two truckers were arrested and 25 kgs of poppy recovered from them in the outskirts of Jammu city today, the police claimed.

Acting on specific information, the police intercepted two trucks at Kullian the in outskirts of the city, an official said.

On search of these vehicles, the police party recovered 25 kgs pf poppy from the possession of truck drivers, he claimed adding that a case under relevant sections of law was registered at the Miran Sahib police station.

Further investigation is on, the police said.
