Two ULFA militants arrested

Two ULFA-Independent militants were arrested and a pistol and explosives recovered from them in Assam's Goalpara district.

District Additional Superintendent of Police Rosy Kalita told PTI today that the two extremists were nabbed from Mendipathar in Assam-Meghalaya border last night during a police operation.

A pistol and a huge quantity of explosives were recovered from the two ultras, she added.
