United Spirits appoints John Thomas Kennedy as director
Liquor maker United Spirits today said John Thomas Kennedy has been appointed as director of the company.
The board of the company has passed a resolution to appoint "John Thomas Kennedy, a nominee of Relay B V, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Diageo pic, as a non-executive non-independent director on the Board," USL said in a BSE filing.
Kennedy's appointment would be effective from August 17, 2016, it added.
He is currently the president of Diageo Europe, Russia, Turkey and India and is a member of Diageo Global Executive Team.
