Uttar Pradesh Assembly was today adjourned for the day after paying condolences to two legislators, who died in last two months.
As soon as the House met, Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey read resolution to condole death of legislators Sayed Kasim Ali (78) and Deepak Kumar (48).
Ali was legislator from Fatehpur, while Kumar represented Unnao.
Leader of the House, Akhilesh Yadav, leader of opposition Swami Prasad Maurya, BJP leader Hukum Singh and Congress leader Anugrah Narain Singh in their separate addresses condoled the death of the legislators.
Later, after observing two minutes silence, the House was adjourned for the day.
