UP polls: 336 cartons of liquor seized

336 cartons of smuggled liquor worth Rs 20 lakh have been seized here, police said today.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided a factory here last evening and seized the liquor cartons which were smuggled from Haryana for use during the upcoming Assembly elections, a senior police official said.

"One person, Rahul, has been arrested in this case," he added.
