UP: Seven-year-old girl raped by man in Muzaffarnagar

A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man at a village in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district, police said on Monday.

The 22-year-old man allegedly took the girl to sugarcane fields in Dholri village in Titawi area and raped her on Sunday, the police said.

She was later found crying in the fields by the villagers who took the girl to her home and informed the police, they said.

A case has been registered against the accused and the minor sent for medical examination, the police said.
