UPPCL asked to ensure uninterrupted power supply to farmers

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited was today asked to ensure uninterrupted power supply to farmers in the district in view of paucity of rains leading to drought-like conditions.

The direction was given by Public Works Department, Irrigation, Revenue and Co-operative Minister Shiv Pal Singh Yadav, an official release said.

Yadav was here to review the functioning of various departments in the district.
