Upset with marks, boy jumps before train

Upset with his low marks in exams, a tenth standard boy today allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train near here.

Police said the boy, a student of a private school at Tirumangalam, had scored less marks in his monthly examination and was frustrated.

He allegedly jumped before the Shencottah passenger train at Tirumangalam this morning and died on the spot, police said.
