Honesty is the best policy! A 13-year-old boy in the US has brought to life the old adage by returning USD 1,300 that he found on the middle of the road.
Jack Sheehan of Sandwich town in Massachusetts found the cash when he was out walking his dog.
"I saw the bags in the middle of the road, which was a little bit odd, so I just kind of went over to see what it was and I saw the money in the bag," Sheehan was quoted as saying by WHDH-TV.

Inside the bag was USD 1,300 in cash and bank deposit slip.
Sheehan and his mom called police and traced it to the Mashpee Country Store.
"In our family, honesty is a big thing," Sheehan's mother said.
It appeared the store owner put the bag on the roof of his car and drove away.
"He drove the car and forgot to pick up the bag," said Mohammad Rafiq, brother of Mohammad Ahmad, the owner of the Mashpee Country Store.
The bag eventually landed in the middle of the road in front of the Sheehan home in Sandwich. Rafiq said Sheehan's actions would not be forgotten soon.
"If we lost it, we would forget it in a couple of months, but why he did, we will not forget that," said Rafiq of Sheehan.
Ahmad was so thankful for Sheehan's actions, he gave him USD 100.
"They dropped by and they gave a reward to my dad to give to me and some candy also," Sheehan said.
