Delhi golfer Vani Kapoor returned with the day's best card of three-under 69 to take the lead in the penultimate round of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour 2013 here today.
Vani finished with a total score of 141 (72, 69) after 36 holes at the at the Golden Greens Golf & Resorts.
Vani started her round today with a bogey on the first hole which was followed by another bogey on the sixth hole, but she quickly managed to recover with five birdies on the second, 10th, 11th, 15th and 18th holes.

Overnight leader Saaniya Sharma from Chandigarh faltered in the second round to return with a total score of 146 (70,76) after the second round.
Saaniya's round today consisted of two double bogeys on the first and 10th holes, four bogeys on the second, third, seventh and 15th holes and four birdies on the fifth, eighth, 11th and 16th holes. She trails Vani by five shots and is paced second after the 36 holes.
Pallavi Jain (78, 72) and Kolkata golfer Neha Tripathi(78, 72) were placed third with identical scores of 150 after the second round. Rookie Pune golfer Shweta Galande is placed fifth after 36 holes with a total score of 152 (77, 75).
