Gayapal Panda Mahesh Lal Hal conducted the puja and Jaltarpan besides sharadh on the Vishnupad temple campus.
Mahesh Lal Hal later said the Pilibhit MP performed the puja for peace of soul and salvation of his grand mother Indira Gandhi, uncle and former PM Rajiv Gandhi and his father late Sanjay Gandhi besides other ancestors.
