Brother of a village head was shot dead and another injured by unidentified assailants in Udaipur area, police said here today.
Haribhajan (30) and Surendra Yadav (35), brothers of the head of Raki village, were shot at by the assailants while they were returning to their house last night, they said.
Police said the two were rushed to the district hospital where Haribhajan died.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and efforts were being made to arrest the accused.
