A 28-year-old youth allegedly involved in several cases of murder, dacoity and theft in the national capital and in neighbouring Haryana has been nabbed by Crime Branch sleuths, police said today.
According to police, Kuldeep Rathee alias Raju, a resident of Najafgarh area of Delhi, was arrested yesterday after information was received that "he was coming towards GT Karnal Road".
Police said that a trap was laid to arrest Kuldeep, who is a native of Jhajjar in Haryana.
Police said the Kuldeep is an associate of another wanted gangster, Vikas Lagarpuria, and also a sharp-shooter of the gang.
Along with his associates, Kuldep is alleged to have committed dacoity, robbery, car-jacking and murder in Delhi and Haryana.
On March 23 this year, Kuldeep and some associates carried out a car-jacking at gunpoint in the Sector-9 area of Dwarka here, police added.
