Water release for irrigation stopped from Mettur dam

: Water release from Mettur dam for irrigation purposes in 14 delta districts was stopped this morning, PWD sources said.

They said the water level in the dam was 103.86 feet today against its full level of 120 feet. The inflow was 4,923 cusecs, they said.
