Woman accuses man of raping her on the pretext of marriage

A woman working at the Pondicherry Bhawan in Chanakyapuri has accused a driver employed there of raping her on the pretext of marriage.

The victim in her complaint told police that she was staying with the accused at her staff quarters but wasn't aware that he is married, police said.

The victim is unmarried and alleged that the accused had promised to marry her. When she asked him to get married to her, he refused, following which she approached police.
