Woman activist files case against lawyers for heckling her

A woman activist today filed a case against nearly 40 unnamed lawyers, alleging that they threatened and heckled her in the High Court premises here.

In the FIR registered at Wazirganj police station, social activist Nutan Thakur alleged that she was threatened and heckled by the lawyers, including women, yesterday when she was in the High court premises in connection with a PIL filed by her, police said.

The FIR was registered under sections 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation), police said.
