Woman air passenger held for bid to smuggle Rs 4 cr drugs

A 35-year-old woman passenger was arrested today at the airport here for allegedly trying to smuggle drugs worth Rs four crore to Malaysia.

She had concealed small packets of narcotic substance inside tins of milk powder and carried it in her hand luggage, Narcotics Control Bureau officials said.

The seized drug was worth Rs four crore, they said without naming the narcotic.

The woman was scheduled to take a flight to Malaysia.
