Woman burnt alive for dowry

According to a complaint filed by the victim's brother, the woman, Sangeeta, was set on fire by her husband Gaurav and in-laws yesterday.

Sangeeta, who had married Gaurav in December last year, was allegedly constantly harassed for dowry by her in-laws, police said.

A case has been registered against six persons in this regard and a probe into the matter is on, they added.
