Woman commits suicide in UP's Etah

A 28-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide at her house in Nakhatpura village of the district, police said today.

Munni Devi was found hanging from a saree in her room last night under Jaithera police station area.

She was married to Pramod for eight years. The relations between the two were strained for past few days due to which she took the extreme step, they said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated, police added.
