A 32-year-old woman was allegedly gang raped by six persons when she went to a field in Muradnagar area to relieve herself, police said today.
Four accused have been arrested in this connection while two others are absconding, they added.
According to the police, the incident occurred on Tuesday, but the matter came to light today, when the victim registered a complaint at Muradnagar police station.
As per the complaint, the victim was gang raped by six persons when she had gone to a nearby field to relieve herself on Tuesday's morning, police said, adding that further investigations are on to nab the other two accused.
