Woman jumps off Wazirabad flyover, dies

A woman today committed suicide by jumping off the Wazirabad flyover onto the road below in north Delhi, a police official said.

The middle-aged woman was wearing a lower and a T-shirt. A bus ticket from Hari Nagar to Nehru Vihar in Timarpur area was recovered from her, the official said.

Efforts were on to establish her identity. No suicide note was found.

Earlier today, the police received a call around 10.30am that a woman had jumped from the Wazirabad flyover. A police team was rushed to the spot and it took the woman to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
