A 22-year-old woman was today killed allegedly by her husband and in-laws for dowry in Katka village of Dhanghta area here, police said.
The newly married woman, identified as Seema, was killed with a sharp-edged weapon by her husband Riabish, his father Barsati and three other family members as their dowry demands were not met, they said.
The accused husband and his father have been detained while hunt is on to nab others, they said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, they added.
