Woman killed, six injured in attack over petty issue

A 60-year-old woman was killed and six others injured when some persons attacked a marriage party following a dispute over dancing in Bhakrauli village here.

The incident took place yesterday when a marriage party reached the venue and a dispute erupted with some persons over dancing after which they attacked the marriage party with sticks and rods, police said.

Jai Devi (60) was killed with six others were injured, who were rushed to a hospital, they said.

An FIR has been registered against six persons of the village, police said.

No arrests have so far been made in the matter.
