Woman kills self in Andhra Pradesh

A 24-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide today by hanging from a ceiling fan in Nagarajupeta near Jagannadapuram area, police said.

Komadi Kamaakshi took the extreme step at her residence, an official attached with One Town police station said.

Prima facie, financial problems could be the reason for the woman to kill self. Her body has been sent for post mortem, he said.

A case under relevant sections of IPC has been registered and investigations are underway, police said.
