Woman, nephew electrocuted

: A 50-year-old woman and her teenaged nephew were electrocuted at Theevatipatty when they switched on some swithces at their home to begin work on their powerlooms, police said.

The woman first switched on the light and was electrocuted. Her 18-year-old nephew grabbed her in a bid to save her and met the same fate, they said.

Police said the family had five powerlooms.
