A 25-year-old woman who had gone to invite her colleagues for her wedding next month died tragically after she lost her balance and was caught under the wheels of a moving bus in southwest Delhi's Dwarka area today.

Jyoti, who worked at Ayushman Hospital in Dwarka, had recently quit her job as she was to get married on February 1, DCP (southwest) Surender Kumar said.

Accompanied with her mother, she had gone to invite her colleagues at the hospital to her wedding, he said.

After boarding the bus from Dwarka Mor, she stood at the rear door of the bus but lost her balance and fell down, the officer said.
