A 40-year-old woman was tied to a tree and set on fire allegedly by her husband here.
Charred body of Chedana (40) was found tied to a tree with a chain in Bara Sagwar area of Bharthipur village yesterday, police said here today.
In a complaint lodged with the police, Chedana's brother Manoj alleged that her husband Lallu had killed Chedana for opposing his extra-marital relationship with another woman.
Efforts are on to arrest Lallu, who is absconding.
