Woman sexually harassed by man in Muzaffarnagar

A 27-year-old woman was allegedly sexually harassed and beaten up by a man when she was alone at her house at Pinna village in the district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday, they said.

A case was registered against the accused Ankur, 26, and he has been arrested.

According to a complaint lodged by the victim, she was sexually harassed by the accused when her husband was away and when she tried to resist, the youth allegedly beat her up, police said.
