Youth arrested with stolen motorcycle in Jammu

A youth has been arrested with a stolen motorcycle in Jammu.

"A motorcycle was stolen from Barjala Chatha in city and a case on May 25 was registered," police officer said.

Acting upon a specific information, a police team recovered the said motorcycle from accused Garu Ram of Bishnah in Samba district last night, officer said, adding he was arrested.

The accused has been booked under relevant sections of law, police said, adding that manhunt has been launched for the arrest of main accused namely Pummy Kumar.

The accused is a habitual vehicle lifter and is involved in number of such incidents earlier also, police said.
