Youth festival commences in Nagaland

Aimed at developing the

personality of young generations of the region, a three-day northeast National Service Scheme (NSS) Youth Festival - Rejuvenating youth through festival - commenced here today.

Around 500 NSS volunteers from northeastern states, including Sikkim participated in the festival, sponsored by the Union Ministry of Youth Resources and Sports and hosted by Nagaland government at Indira Gandhi Stadium here.

The festival was inaugurated by Nagaland Assembly Speaker Chotisuh Sazo.
